Hi All,
I installed the Twonky (Version 5.0.65) on my good old Linkstation Pro (ARM, telnet enabled), as described at discountnetz.com. Installation was problem and error free. Both Web-GUI's of Buffalo und Twonky reachable, but impossible to reach it from my DENON AV-4310.
Checked situation with a tool called "Cidero", with which you can search for UPNP clients and servers. The receiver is found, but not the server. All machines are in the same IP-subnet.
Does anyone have an idea, how to improve? Do I have to activate any further protocols or features in Twonky or the Linux of the Linkstation?
Thx in advance for you support, Oli.
Twonky on Linkstation Pro not reachable by UPnP Clients
Solved: Twonky on Linkstation Pro not reachable by UPnP Clie
Hi folks,
after lots of tests and tries to reach the UPnP server and clients with "Cidero", I found on of my switches to be the cause of the problem. After substition of the Intellinet 8-port switch (modell 523080EU) with a Netgear GS608 the problem disappeared completely. The Intellinet sitch seems to have a problem with UPnP port forwarding or is just faulty.
So my problem is solved
