Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.
I have a lot of movie files that are no longer appearing within Twonky Media Server. I enabled the log, and can see the files that are missing have been seen, but are reported as invalid "LOG_SCAN:db_add_video C:\Movies\whatever.avi file is invalid". One of the files for example, is a mkv file that has been passed through mkv2vob. In Twonky v4.x, and I think possibly even 5.0, it was seen okay, and I have watched this file okay on my PS3. But in later versions, this file no longer appears. I don;t know why it says it is invalid, when older versions of Twonky had no problems with it, and it plays with no problem on my PS3. There are also other formats that also report file is invalid. Is there anyway to fix this so it works again, or even just turns off format checking so that it can send any file?
I've been hoping that this will be fixed in a later version, but I've installed several updates (now on v5.1.3), and still no luck.
Please help.
Thanks

Re: LOG_SCAN:db_add_video C:\Movies\whatever.avi file is invalid
As a bit of extra information, one of the video type that use to be picked, but is not any longer is reported by GSpot as an MPEG-2 transport stream with the mime type of video/mp2t. This was from an .MKV file that was re-encoded with MKV2VOB. I have some home movies that are in DVD "VOB" format (according to GSpot) and these are also not picked up (reported as invalid files by Twonky during the scan). I have now installed Twonky Server 6.0 beta 2, but the same problem exists. I also have some files that are reported as MPEG-1, and these are also excluded with the same error. I have about 430 video files start are not being included.
I have Twonky 6.0 beta 2 running on Windows Server 2003. Twonky 4.x picked up these files and I was able to watch them all without issue on my PS3 before upgrading to Twonky 5.x. I would rather not have to downgrade, as I also have a Samsung TV, and the pause facility only works on v5.1.3 and later.
Please help.
Thanks
