With 5.1.2 if I dropped a video into one of the watched folders it would appear fairly quickly - seemed like no more than a few minutes though I never timed it. With 5.1.4 however it takes a lot longer - it's been 25 minutes and it hasn't found the clip I dropped in one of the watched folders (scan is at -1).
If/when I do a manual rescan it's found just fine, so it seems only to be a problem with the automated scanning.

I noticed that as well. It wasn't auto-scanning. Also getting an issue that when I reboot, it no longer starts. 5.1.3 is fine on both accounts though....

Same here. I'm a new user starting with this version installed on WHS and am having serious issues trying to get TWS to consistently scan my designated media folders.
Any suggestions welcome

Re: TwonkyMedia Server 5.1.4 - scanner problems
There definitely seems to be a problem here, there are several posts complaining of scanning problems since 5.1.3 (see my post “h.264(.ts) files and folder scans." of 2nd May). I went back to 5.1.2 and all works fine, so the problem comes from the changes between 5.1.2 and 5.1.3.
