Hi,
I have recently purchased twonky media server and am having trouble with it communicating consistently with my DLNA media centre (LG MS408D)
The count of video/pictures/audio files varies each time it restarts or the database is rebuilt. Why would this be hte case???
The media centre often can not "find" the server even though the signal strength is strong.
Any advice is greatly appreciated

Re: Drop outs and inconsistent database rebuilds
It would be better to be sure of the version you're running
5.1.4 is out, try upgrading. I had problems where because I had IPv6 configured (on Linux) Twonky would keep dropping out after a few seconds. Nobody else has reported anything similar.
You should test with another DLNA client, to identify whether the problem is with Twonky or the media centre.

No longer running Twonky
