Twonky Network Media Controller Stationary
I have an entry in Windows Device Manager with a yellow exclamation mark against it:
Twonky Network Media Controller Stationary
The devcie status is:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
I am running TwonkyServer 6.01 and my o/s is Windows 7 64bit.
Please advise me what Twonky Network Media Controller Stationary is for and how do I install drivers for it?
Thanks....

This is interesting. I haven't seen this before. I've forwarded your comments to our engineers and will post their response here after I receive it.

Just so that you know that it is not an isolated incident I have it also on my Win 7 64-bit PC as well running 6.0-RC4.

Re: Twonky Network Media Controller Stationary
Thanks. I talked to Christian about this and he hasn't seen this before, but he is looking into this. If you haven't done so already, you should try reinstalling the server.
When you installed TwonkyServer, were you logged in as a user with full administator rights or as a "Standard User"?
We'll be posting TwonkyServer 6.0.2 in the Beta section in the next week or two. You should also try that and see if it makes a difference.

Re: Twonky Network Media Controller Stationary
It's a bit more complicated than that with Windows 7 as you have standard users and admin users but even admin users don't have full admin rights. To get full admin rights you need to right click an exe and then select "Run as Administrator".
I'm not sure if that was how I installed TMS 6.0RC4 on my PC but I will try uninstalling it and then re-installing it this way.

Re: Twonky Network Media Controller Stationary
I don't think full admin rights are needed, because I didn't install it that way and it works fine, but it can't hurt either. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

Re: Twonky Network Media Controller Stationary
We believe we have located the cause of this problem and think it's been fixed in the final release version of TwonkyServer 6.0.2. When the final release versions of TwonkyServer 6.0.2 and TwonkyManager 2.0.3 are posted here on Sept 16th or 17th, please download them here and retest this. This fix may not be in the Beta release posted here today. If this does not solve your problem, please let me know. Thanks.

Do you have a link to the 6.0.2 Beta that you say was posted today as there's no post for it in the Beta forum?

Re: Twonky Network Media Controller Stationary
For some reason they decided not to post a Beta. Not sure why.
If all goes as planned, we should post a final build at www.twonky.com by the end of the day San Diego time.

Here are the links to TwonkyServer 6.0.2 for Mac and PC. Still waiting for Linux, that's why these haven't been posted on www.twonky.com yet.

Re: Twonky Network Media Controller Stationary
This problem is still the same with this new RC installed - see my post here: http://www.twonkyforum.com/viewtopic.ph ... 620#p31620
Looking at the device in Device Manager it appears that it is coming from the installation on my LS Pro (6.0-RC4) as it lists the device as having a location of http://192.168.xxx.xxx:9020/RemoteUISer ... iption.xml which is on my NAS. There is another device called TwonkyMedia NMC which uses the same location but is not reported as having any problems.
I can delete the dodgy entry in Device Manager but if I rescan for hardware changes it is detected again and comes back with an exclamation mark. It tries to install a driver and fails saying "No driver found".
