I have some problems with my Twonky MediaServer 5.1 which is built in my WD MYBook.
First of all:
- files I add to my public shares, like music, movies etc, are recognized by my XBOX 360! So I can watch movies, play songs an look at pictures. That was the reason, I bought the WD....ah ok, the point of backup was the 2nd choice...
Now the problem/questions:
- the WD has a itunes feature, which I can enable. So I did. I am using itunes10. The WD appears in my itunes, but if I click on it, no music is shown and I can`t hear any files. I tried to copy the files directly into the shared folder without a structure like POPmusic, Classicmusic etc. It won`t work!
The MediaServer seems to be allright, because I can listen to the music on my Xbox...
So where is my problem?
By the way, I am using Microsoft XP Prof.
I have a lot of questions, but for the first step, I would like to solve that one.
