i have a samsung 55c8000 led 3d tv, verizon fios wireless internet, twonky server 6.0.23, and macbook pro. i have media on and all devices are allowed on the samsung but when i press content and go to media play i get : no external storage device found. check the connection status. what am i doing wrong?

yes i tried all that, all the settings are as stated. it connected one day and the next day i could not get it to connect again.

Is the TV being identified correctly in the Media Reveivers page of the Twonky Config web page?

Also try resetting your receivers list and then restarting your server from the Maintenance page while the TV is on and connected to the network. It should then re-appear in the list as Samsung TV with the correct IP and MAC addresses.
