Hi,
Twonky Media Server 6.0.34 is installed on QNAP NAS TS-409 Turbo (ARM). Current firmware version:3.3.0 Build 0924T.
Worked fine for a while on previous version of Twonky 6.0.30.
Now quits during indexing of music files after about 60.000 of the 140.000 files on NAS (exact number not known).
Using http://My-NAS-IP:9000/config I select from the Menu: Server Status. But I get a message that the Server cannot be reached anymore. My TV does not see thee Twonky Media Server anymore.
Checking QNAP NAS User Interface on Menu / Applications / QPKG Plugins: 6.0.34 shows Status: Disable. Clicking ENABLE button takes TwonkyMedia to Status Unknown after a while. Pressing ENABLE again Status changes into Enable.
Checking then Applications / UPnP Media Server again shows that Twonky has been disabled now. I have to select "Enable UPnP Media Server" and press APPLY after which the line http://My-NAS-IP:9000/ gets hyperlinked and the indexing of the music files starts again.
Any hint how to find what is really wrong and why indexing cannot complete, would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Regards,
Franz

Re: Twonky Server quits before indexing is finished
Several possible causes, but most likely are either-
1) A corrupt and/or malformed file causing the server to crash
2) Running out of disk space for the media library
Try turning on Logging in Twonky media and after the crash locate the log file and see if there is any useful information in there.
