Philips BDP7600 Blu Ray player cannot access Twonky 6.0.34

Post by OliBoe » Sun Aug 07, 2011 2:42 pm

Hi,

I use my beloved Twonky Server for years. Starting with an HTPC, now using 6.0.34 on WHS hardware.

All my devices can access the Twonky server succesfully: A Philips TV, two Denon Receivers, my PS3, a LG BX580, my Kathrein DVB-S2 receiver -> every device which is capable to access an DLNA server 'sees' my Twonky server and can play content from it.
(There´s wireless and wired LAN available in the whole house and the connection works fine using both transmission methods)

My new Blu Ray player Philips BDP7600 isn´t able to conenct to my Twonky server.
It´s independent if I connect the BDP7600 via WLAN or LAN to my network - no connect possible.
(But network capability works fine - BD live for example)

Interesting enough there should be some kind of a connection from the BDP7600 to the twonky server because I´ll see the BDP7600 as a new device in the Twonky Server configuration. Interesting enough the device is called "Infusion".

Does anyone has any idea what the problem could be?

Cheers,
Oliver
