Twonky Media Server doesn't create a steady connection to TV

I'm a new owner of a Qnap ts212 and the Twonky Media Server Software. The Qnap is supposed to be a Media Server for my TV Philips 37PFL9604. This TV is albe to receive data per WLAN or with a wired connection to my router. The problem is: Twonky Media Server is not able to create a reliable connection to the TV. The network connection is ok and steady. With WLAN the TM Server finds my TV automatically and I sometimes have connection and see the folders on my TV sceen. But some hours later the connection is lost. With a network wire the TM Server does not find the TV at all.
I did not find out how to enter data for the TV by hand. I write the MAC-address of my TV, select Philips TV and click apply. Then the TM server doubles all connections (why?) But it does'nt give the IP-address to my TV. And I cannot add the IP-address by hand.
How can I fix it? Does anyone know?

based on the tv being able to see twonky on wifi, but not on lan
It sounds like your tv and or your router may need some settings changed
if your problem was the reverse I would say you had wifi isolation turned on
but your description is the other way around

Have your tried turning everything off, all pc's etc.
turn on the router
turn on the nas
turn on the tv
does doing this help in any way?

Thanks for your answer. The router sends information to and gets information from computers and a printer on both ways, wifi and lan.
Yes, I tried starting everything anew. That didn't work either.
