photos on the TV screen as thumbnails 160x160

Post by roberto75 » Thu Aug 04, 2011 2:39 pm

I have Philips 40PFL7605M/08 and MyBookLive

Philips with firmware 140.37.0.
On MyBookLive i have firmware 2.00.35 and Twonky Media Server 5.1.9.

I show all my photos on the TV screen as thumbnails. Very small picture!
I make a test with TVersity Media Server on my notebook and i show photos in correct size.

Ik heb precies hetzelfde probleem met een Philips 40pfl8605h, wie kan ons helpen. Via instellingen in TwonkeyMediaServer Config. lukt het mij niet.

Hi,

good news, I just found a WA in the NAS forum.
You need to change the media device from generic to XBOX at least for one device in the Twonky settings.

Update: We just tested our Philips TVs with the Windows version of both TwonkyServer 6.x and 7.x and pictures showed up full-screen. We're no longer making changes to TS 5.x because even if we did manufacturers like Western Digital don't intend to release any more updates.

We are having some discussions with them about ways existing users might upgrade to new versions.
