Yamaha RX-3900 looses connection to Twonky

Hello,

First I want you to excuse my english, because I'm not used to write in. The problem may be a little one for you,but now I'm searching for a couple of days without getting a solution.
I have my NAS Qnap TS-219P+ connected via Router to my Yamaha RX-V3900. Everything is ok, but after a certain time the AVR doesn't find the Twonky sever anymore and says to me: No Content (in german:kein inhalt). I am sure it's only a little problem, but I really don't know how to solve it. What is my mistake?

I'm really sorry, but I tried the search-function here and google and didn't find anything...

Some devices have problems dropping wireless connections. I don't know if that is the case with this product.

I've read that having your router NOT hide the SSID can help with problems with dropped connections. You might want to look into doing that.

There was another thread recently about dropped connections and when this user enabled multicasting on his router, it appeared to fix this issue. Although I can't see why this would be related, I'm sharing this, just in case it helps.

Thx Rick, but Multicast is altready activated.

When i give a ping to my devices from my notebook there's no problem; both answer. My Router is a speedtouch 780wl. I read about enabling natloopback. Would this be right?

Do you have your Qnap TS-219P+ NAS configured to go into sleep or low power mode?

If you do then your NAS may not be waking up fast enough and your Yamaha RX-V3900 thinks your NAS has dropped off the network.
