PS3 Router configuration help

Post by DiRTDOGGYDOG » Sat Oct 20, 2007 2:37 am

Hello, I badly need help. I had the twonkymedia server working just great until I had to reset my router, now the PS3 can not connect to the server. I have UPnP enabled the PS3 is setup in the DMZ so I shouldnt have to forward any ports? Please Please help. I was just getting ready to buy this software but if I cant get this figured out there will be no point.

Can someone please help me configure my Linksys BEFSR41 so I can get this working again.

I did a search here in this forum, on the PS3 forum and on google and I cant get anything that works.

Thanks for any help.

Mate, it's really nothing to do with Twonky.

What you need to do is :-

A. Read how your router works
B. Set it up properlys.
C. If using DHCP, turn all the equipment on/reboot in correct order.

1. Router
2. PC
3 PS3

Let us know how you go.
