Hi,
I installed two days ago the twonkyMedia 4.4.3.1 on my DNS-323, I must say that everything went well, most of the content (DivX, mp3, wma) is accessible from my PS3, this is great.
But I'm facing an issue with my large media database, (> 100k wma files).
After indexing 30k files, the server return an error saying that there is not enough memory on the system to index the files. At this point Mediamonkey report that it use 15kB of RAM.
When I reach this limit, I see that the twonkyMedia process is using roughly 100% CPU and I see a lot of activity on the drives.
Do you know if the system still index files at that time or is it simply in a deadloop ? On the screen I don't see additionnal files indexed.
Do you know, if I can increase the max mem in the init files, and use the swap ? What would be your recommendation ? Any formula who can help on the calculation of the required memory ?
Do you know if the server release the memory after it complete the indexing ?
Do you know if the server keep all the database in memory ? if yes any way to prevent that ?
Any idea how I can tweak the server to handle all the files ?
I notice that when I restart the server it reindex all the files, anyway to prevent that ?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
