DLNA 2103 on PS3 while Twonky 4.4.3.1 on ReadyNAS

Post by JSchulte » Mon Feb 18, 2008 5:22 pm

Hi!

Generally I have the problem having DLNA 2103 (or other) failure-messages while using music or pictures on my PS3. I'm driving nuts, cause the idea is perfect AND sometimes for some minutes it's working perfect BUT anytime (after x minutes) I get one of these network failures... While viewing some (big, 2-3 meg) pictures the whole system (twonky) isn't working any longer for an hour or so.

Anyone any Idea????

Thanks in advance
Jens

Hey Jens,

If you haven't already figured it out yet, I found a solution to the DLNA 2103 error when viewing photos on my setup (Buffalo LinkStation LS500GL V1, Twonky 4.4.4 for NAS, PS3 60GB with latest firmware).

For me it was simply UN-checking the box for "Disable photo rescaling". Find it in the Twonky Config pages > Advanced Setup > Miscellaneous.

Hope this helps...

Joe

I also get the 2103 errors, however I already have the disable resize box UNchecked.

I also get DLNA 2101 errors (A LOT), and having sent an email to Twonky support with the log file I still haven't recieved any response.

As a paying customer (indirectly, having purchased a QNap box which comes pre-loaded with the software) I wish Twonky was better in their communication... I heard they were at one time...

You should be communicating with QNAP with regards to your problem. Your contract is with them.
