Hi All,
I've just purchased a 1TB Western Digital NAS, with builtin TwonkyMedia Server, and I'm having problems with the videos I'm sharing.
In Windows Media Player 11 on Vista Ultimate, the videos aren't showing thumbnails, genre, rating etc. and they're all showing the same title "Shared Videos". The only information it is showing correctly is the clip duration.
I've tried it with a number of different file types, (mpg, wmv, avi, mts), and they all do the same thing.
One odd thing I've just noticed, when I view the properties for each clip, it shows URL's like this...
http:/[IP address]:9000/disk/NON-DLNA/video/O0$3$24I16/Test1.mpg?WMHME=1&WMHMETitle=UwBoAGEAcgBlAGQAIABWAGkAZABlAG8AcwA=
The "NON-DLNA" seems like a clue. Any ideas why it would be non-dlna. Is there someone I have to tell it to enable DLNA?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
[edit]
I just noticed that the URL's for the WMV and AVI clips are slightly different...
http://[IP address]:9000/disk/DLNA-PNAVI-OP01-FLAGS01700000/video/O0$3$24I17/Test1.avi?WMHME=1&WMHMETitle=UwBoAGEAcgBlAGQAIABWAGkAZABlAG8AcwA=
They still don't show the titles, or thumbnails though. So possibly dlna isn't the problem.
Thanks,
Eugene
