Accessing TMS 5 w/ Dynamic DNS & Synology DS207+...SLOW

I've been using Twonky for quite a while (since the early 4.x days).
I recently have upgraded to the most recent version of 5 that is available for NAS's.
I'm having two problems, both of which also existed on the 4.x TMS.

First problem: Keeping the external IP/dynamic dns in any links after you click Music/Pictures/Videos.
So basically the way it works now is that to access the main Twonky page from outside of my home network I go to..
http://n2pb.dyndns.org:443/ (Works very slowly, see second problem)
If I go to click on Videos it points to my internal network IP and port...
http://10.0.1.45:9000/webbrowse/O0$3

I know in Twonky4 you could hit Network and there were various options regarding Dynamic DNS. The quick fix I always knew about was to just put a \ in the path name for the configuration. But now with Twonky5 the only options that are available under network is just to reboot on NIC change. Also I read about fixes involving editing the .ini file, but with Twonky5 there is no such file (but there was in Twonky4)

Second problem: Accessing any pages of Twonky while external to the network takes MINUTES to load at a time. I know all of my port forwards are setup correctly and there is no problem accessing other pages on the NAS (like its configuration page, on its own port) or other devices on my network that I have port forwards on my router (ie. router config, VOIP device, slingbox, etc) at perfectly normal speed. Its simply just messed up with Twonky.

One little side note here, it really only seems slow loading the main page, media browser, and configuration page (although once your there, all of the tabs to the left work VERY quickly).

Please advise!
Any help/tips/ideas greatly appreciated!
