AT&T U-Verse Reader

I'm trying to share media with an AT&T U-Verse set top box. But, I'm using Ubuntu Linux rather than Windows. U-Verse can see my server but it claims that the container is "empty." I presume this is because my directory stucture/ share names are unlike those provided by Windows Media Player. Can anyone suggest what directory structure I should try?

Thanks!

Got it, never mind! I didn't realize that I should be sharing directories within the /home directory tree rather than elsewhere on the hard drive, much of which seems to be blacklisted, apparently for (good) security reasons.

Now working fine!

Cheers,
