Can't see Twonky from Onkyo receiver?

Post by udoggie » Wed Aug 18, 2010 6:05 am

I've installed the trial version of the Twonky server on my iMac running 10.6.4, and pointed it at my media. It indexed everything, and i can get to the config screen and make changes just fine.

I can see the twonky server from my Xbox, but not from my Onkyo TX-NR808 DNLA-certified receiver.

The Xbox and Onkyo are both plugged into the same network switch, which seems to rule out any sort of a firewall issue.

The Onkyo just says 0 servers found. It's up and on the network, as I can connect to it via the Mac, as well as use the receiver to connect to Pandora just fine.

TwonkyServer looks like the exact product that I am looking for, except for the little issue that it doesn't work. :?:

Any suggestions?

P.S. Here's the config info;

Version: 6.0.1
Cache memory: 10423 KB
Last database change: 19:48:21
Music tracks: 3859
Photos: 9417
Videos: 37

Trial period
Days left: 30
Server uptime: 0 days, 2:06:11 hours
Server build date: Jul 30 2010 p3
Server restart pending: no

Network Interfaces: 127.0.0.1

The Xbox shows up in the Media receivers list, but not the Onkyo.
