Hi,
I've been a long time user of twonkyServer. Since version 3 I think, I love the software but I stopped using it about a year ago, since I connected a computer to my TV and I started using XBMC. But now, I am back since I just got a new HDTV with DLNA support, I am gladly surprise that a new version is out and now it even has a script to install it in Ubuntu!!! I ran the script and it ran perfectly... or so I thought, I rebooted my server and TwonkyServer didn't start. Any help or pointer how to debug this issue? I am not a newbie but I am definitely not an expert.
Thanks,
Gabriel!
PS: My Samsung HDTV and Blu-ray worked flawlessly with TwonkyServer.

Re: Ubuntu installation
I can't get the script to run. Any hints?
Re: Ubuntu installation
Maybe you didn't make it executable? Using nautilus you can browse to the folder with the script, right click, properties and there is a tab called permission (or security) and then you can see the attribute to make it executable. after that you can run it.Webspider wrote:I can't get the script to run.
