Dear all,
Can anyone import all the playlists to TwonkyServer especially the smart lists? I tested it with version 5 and above but was only able to import static playlists. With version 4 everything went fine but as the directory structure changed you can't copy the import scripts.
Is their any way to add own plugins to TwonkyServer so I can write the wpl-files on my own each time the iTunes library changed?
Thanks for your help,
nicki4lu

Re: TwonkyServer and iTunes smart playlists
We used to import all iTunes smart playlists, but removed this because there was a lot of overlap between their smart playlists and ours and this caused some confusion.
Is there 1 or 2 smart playlists you'd like us to add?

Re: TwonkyServer and iTunes smart playlists
ja,
streaming genius playlists would be very useful
But:
I don't know what is wrong with itunes import:
using v4.4.19e2 twonky was able to share itunes playlists and itunes itself recognizes twonky as itunes server.
Using twonky 6.x it does not stream any playlist nor recognizes itunes twonky as server.
Even copying the itunes import plugins from v4.4.19e2 into twonky 6.0.31 has no effect.
Any hint?
Greetings Henni

Re: TwonkyServer and iTunes smart playlists
Most iTunes problems occur as a result of one of these two things:
1. iTunes is installed/updated after TwonkyServer
2. Default iTunes paths are not used
I'm not sure if there is much that we can do if iTunes doesn't recognize Twonky as a media server.
